Afia Pokuaa, an award-winning broadcaster, has come to Nana Ama McBrown’s defense after she was attacked by former colleagues over her move to Onua TV.
McBrown joined the Media General Team after nearly two years as the host of United Showbiz on UTV.
The popular actress and media personality was unveiled on Monday, March 13 at the TV3 headquarters amid drumming and dancing.
Many people have expressed shock over her decision to leave Despite Media for Media General, and the topic has since come up in conversation.
She has also faced harsh criticism from some of her former coworkers at the Despite Media, including Kwame Nkrumah Tikese, Ola Michael, and Nana Ama Moet.
They charged her with being ungrateful and betraying the Despite media group by leaving to work for a competing outlet.
Nana Pokua, a member of the Despite Media team, expressed her displeasure with her colleagues for criticizing McBrown.
