Burna Boy has demonstrated that he genuinely has Ghanaian Hip-hop artiste Black Sherif at heart by urging his fans to stream his debut album, The Villain I Never Was.
The African Giant as Burna Boy’s affectionate moniker goes shared the cover art of Blacko’s album with his legions of fans on social media and humbly implored him to go get the album immediately.
By this gesture, Burna Boy has demonstrated that the connection he has with Black Sherif goes beyond the collab they had on the Sermon Rmx. This is obviously another win for the Sad Boys President.

In the same vein, Black Sherif recently explained to Graphic Showbiz in a recent interview the reason why he failed to feature top guns on his debut album, The Villain I Never Was.
According to him, the main reason is to inspire other upcoming artists to recognize their God-given potential and not necessarily rely on established artistes.
“I could have had some of the popular artistes on my new project but I wanted it to be only me on my debut. I have 14 songs on The Villain I Never Was. I also have more than 30 songs featuring no other person who did not make it to the album,” he told Graphic Showbiz.
Black Sherif further expressed satisfaction with the performance of the album so far since it was released on October 6, 2022.
“I feel the album is doing well because it speaks to people. I was so real about it and I guess it is the reason everyone is loving it. I love to see people meditate with my works and I’m happy a song like Oh Paradise and others on the album are doing just that,” he said.
Asked about his favourite track on the album, he said he would go for Soja and Oh Paradise. “I love all the songs on my album because they all tell different stories of me but Soja and Oh Paradise are dear to me because they bring back a lot of memories,” he revealed.
