Mr. Appiah said this during an interview with Akua Asiedua on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, and the president, Nana Akuffo-Addo, is the one who came up with the idea.

“The President has directed us (the State Housing Company) to build 16 housing units in 16 district under the District Housing Scheme project for government workers, which will be on a rental basis.

“We will start with 16 deprived districts. Workers posted there would get access to decent homes. This project will include schools and hospitals.”

Mr. Appiah is certain that the government will finish all of the unfinished low-income housing projects that were part of state housing initiatives.
