Lewis Hamilton is a British racing driver who was born on January 7, 1985, in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England. He is regarded as one of the best Formula One drivers of all time because he tied Michael Schumacher’s record by winning seven World Championships.
Young Hamilton started karting and rapidly displayed a talent for racing. He climbed through the junior levels, eventually making his way to Formula One in 2007 with the McLaren team. He just missed winning the championship in his first season by finishing second.
