List of parliamentarians who voted for the removal of Finance Min. Ken Ofori Atta

A document containing the list of members of parliament who voted for the removal of Finance minister Ken Ofori Atta has popped up on the internet.

Recall that a few days ago, some Ghanaians started a trend on Twitter with the hashtag ‘Ken Must Go’. Many people called on President Nana Addo to sack the finance minister after the cedi depreciate against the dollar three times in a space of one week.

A few days after Ghaianas called on the president to sack Ken Ofori Atta, members of parliament also called for his sacking. According to the report, about 80% of the majority members of parliament voted for his sack.

The MPs, numbering about 80, held a press conference on Tuesday to impress on the President to relieve his cousin of the responsibility of managing the national purse or risk losing their support for government business going forward.

A list of members of parliament who voted for the sack of Ken Ofori Atta has popped up on social media. On the list, it would be noticed that Majority leader Harruna Idrrisu was the first to vote for the dismissal of the finance minister.
