Days ago, Ink Boy, a fast rising Nigerian artiste voiced his disappointment in Sarkodie for not including him in Sarkodie’s ‘One Million Cedis’ music video.

People on Twitter have criticized Sarkodie for ignoring Ink Boy, a rising Ghanaian artist, when he recently released the music video for the song “One Million Cedis” without including him despite working on the song with him.

On the JAMZ album single “One Million Cedis,” which is doing reasonably well across all digital platforms, Sarkodie collaborated with Ink Boy. Sarkodie, however, failed to collaborate with the gifted youngster when it came time for the video shoot and this has become the fulcrum of discourse being discussed by netizens.

Ink Boy then expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation on social media, saying that Sarkodie had ignored him after hearing how desperately he wanted that exposure—a reference to a role in the music video.

Ink Boy then took to his social media to express his disappointment over the development, revealing how Sarkodie snubbed him when he told how badly wanted that exposure, referencing an appearance in the music video.

“I’ve got mad love for King @sarkodie Allah knows this from my heart. But why don’t I ever get a little chance too? I appreciate putting me on the record but you’re like a dad to me so treat me like a son too.” he bemoaned.

He further indicated that Sarkodie failed to notify him of the release of One Million cedis official video. He also recounted how he pleaded with Sarkodie to perform the song at the recent edition of Sarkodie’s ‘Rapperholic’.

However, responding to this, renowned video director Craig Capone has mentioned that despite inscriptions on Sarkodie’s YouTube account that claimed otherwise, reading “Sarkodie – One Million Cedis ft.

He stated;

“Sarkodie – Million Cedes – while we were out in Mykynos @jaykjs thought we should shoot a quick ‘visualizer’ whilst we were waiting for people to arrive for the main video shoot…took a walk, found a spot and shot this little video, featuring @priscillaanyabu_ with the moves!”
