The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council of the University of Ilorin, Mallam Abidu Yazid, is dead. In a statement signed by the Registrar and Secretary to the Council, Dr Fola Olowoleni, on Thursday, it was stated that the governing council chairman died in the early hours of today in his house after a brief illness.
