You will end up in jail – Ned Nwoko tells Wike

Senator Ned Nwoko has said that Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, will go to jail.

Wike had made fun of Nwoko in a video because of the $418 Paris Club refunds.

But in response, Nwoko said in a statement from his Media Directorate that he personally signed that it was only a matter of time before Wike went to jail for what he was said to have done.

In the statement, Nwoko said that it was typical of the talkative governor that “Wike carelessly dabbled again into the issue of the $418 Paris Club refunds, a legitimate entitlement of Prince Ned Nwoko, whose patriotic ingenuity as a time-honored lawyer secured billions of dollars in favor of local and State governments, including Wike’s administration as a beneficiary.”

He said that Wike was scolding him (Nwoko) for claiming money that the international lawyer had really earned and that had been approved by the Federal government after several court rulings and three separate EFCC reports.

“When has demands for professional fees duly sanctioned by statutory authorities and scrutinised by anti-corruption agencies like EFCC and DSS become ‘fraud’.

“Wike’s evil and disgusting wild goose chase disgusts us.

“Ned Nwoko Media Directorate says, on the other hand, that the Rivers State governor got a huge share of over 60 billion Naira from the Paris Club refunds to states. This is because Prince Ned Nwoko is tougher than most people, and he took the Federal government to court on behalf of the States and local governments and won because the deductions were unfair.”

Nwoko said that he had irrefutable proof that Wike had not only gotten the huge sums of money, but also thrown them away on fake projects and pointless trips around the world.

“As savvy members of the public, we are aware of Wike’s primitive hoarding of illegal loot for elections. This is a shady plan that could only have been thought up by a man with a murky past.

“Wike said that some governors were dirty. Pot can’t say that Kettle is black. A man with both hands stained with filthy lucre lacks moral justification to utter one word on embezzlement. To act too holy is an unforgivable crime. No matter what Wike says, he has put himself in danger of going to jail.

“We need to remind Wike again, in case he has forgotten, that 25 innocent children on life support machines died at the same time in a Rivers State-owned hospital because the hospital could not afford electricity. He couldn’t provide electricity because he spent all of his money on pointless projects that made him look good.

“When his dictatorship is over and he is no longer on top of the world, he will have to answer to the International Court of Justice for the sad deaths of those children.

“It’s funny that a man with such hugely dishonest tendencies and wasteful spending could talk so openly when everything he does is a huge scam and fraud.

“Who was Wike when Ned Nwoko went back to Nigeria in 1999 and won the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal constituency seat, making him a distinguished member of the House of Representatives?

“The fact that he became governor in 2015 because of godfather syndrome and desperately grabbed public money to his chest should not give him the right to brag and be mean.” Let Wike say where he got the money he now shows off with arrogance and pride. Can he make it on his own outside of dirty politics? Nwoko queried.
